Myrsini Kalle is a musician and composer based in Athens, working within the field of ambient and experimental electronic music. With a background in classical piano and choral singing, her practice combines structured composition with improvisational performance, creating layered and meditative soundscapes shaped through synthesizers, samplers, effects processing, and electric guitar.
Influenced by artists such as Air, Boards of Canada, Stars of the Lid, and David Moore, her work balances melodic sensitivity with atmospheric textures and heavily processed samples, often exploring dreamlike and introspective sonic environments. Her live performances are built around structured sets that leave space for improvisation and gradual transformation in real time.
She is a graduate of the Department of Music Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a degree in classical piano. Alongside her artistic practice, she has been working as a piano teacher for the past three years. She has also attended seminars and masterclasses focused on film scoring and composition, expanding her interest in cinematic and narrative-oriented sound.
In 2025, she released her debut album, Some Interesting Experiences, through Submersion Records, and is currently working on her second full-length release while developing a growing interest in modular synthesis and hybrid live performance systems.
She has performed live at venues and events including KET, Oratos, and the Submersion Festival. In June 2026 she played a live set in Live From the Park, organised by Stegi Radio of Onassis Stegi. Alongside her solo work, she is also part of the experimental electronic duo Notation Theta.
Alongside her music practice, Myrsini Kalle curates and hosts radio shows on Weird Fishes Radio and Fade Radio, focusing on ambient, experimental, and electronic music. She has also composed the original score for the short film Hang On Me by Jo Tolia, which was screened at multiple festivals in Greece.
Her collaborative work has included performances alongside Odysseas Tziritas, Yorgos Karoumpalos, Penny Giannorou and Sofia Alamani Nathanailidou. She currently performs both solo and in collaboration with Tilemachos Pouliasis.
